ABOUT US

When David was in high school, he wrote in his year book that "I just want to make a difference."

David never thought he would be a low-income Senior. But things happened beyond his control. He became tired of hearing "You live in subsidized housing, you get what you get, be quiet." "If you don't like it, move." Well, after hearing these things for five years, David decided to do something about it.

There are complainers and then there are those who take action. David took action to overcome problems in today's systems by volunteering with this caring company.

He had heard horror stories of pensions being stolen by people like Conrad Black. He hopes no one ever has to go through these challenges. But they do. And that's why we are trying to help Seniors in the later years of their lives.

David Goddard

When I was younger, I pictured little old grannies and grandpas happily baking and teaching games to children. But when I moved into subsidized housing for Seniors, I quickly found most can be bullies, liars, gossipy, mean, vindictive and downright cruel to each other.

Dementia, bi-polar, handicapped, even schizophrenia makes life harder. Many don't take their meds, try to commit suicide (some succeed), live like hoarders, and are even found naked in hallways. All this within government-sanctioned accommodations.

Seniors can be effectively guided into successful activities. As a Senior, I firmly believe that we are the ones to make our own resilient society. By collaborating positive programs developed for Seniors, we can begin to watch an evolving future.
